Domain Name:

The domain name is the identity of IP(Internet Protocol) address.

Ex: google.com and its IP address is  "74.125.127.147".

A domain name contains maximum sixty-three(63) characters.

The domain name must have a extension like(.com,.org,.net,.uk,.in).

Types of Domains:  
                          
.org:->the .org domain is widely used for organizations.(like small organizations, a company which having small business)

.com:->the .com domain is widely used for commercial websites(like shopping & websites which are related to any business like E-Commerce)

.net:->the .net domain is widely used for organizations which are involved in network technologies.

.uk/.in:->these domains are country domains which specified that this website is for India & for UK (United Kingdom)
